Limerick City Crest

This is the Limerick City Crest. The text on the crest reads: "Urbs Antiqua Fuit Studiisque Asperrima Belli" - "An ancient city well versed in the arts of war".

The City Crest may only be used on stationery and business cards for City Officials and on certain City of Limerick souvenirs (as determined by Council). The Crest and may also be used on official documents, including official certificates and awards, payroll cheques, legal advertisements and City buildings.
